Questions

Common questions.

Do you photograph reactive dogs in Edmonton?
Yes. Reactive dogs are welcome. The session is planned around space, timing, location, and comfort, not around forcing your dog into a busy park or high-pressure setup. We can choose quieter outdoor locations, work at a distance from other dogs and people, and move at your dog's pace.
Do you photograph dogs who cannot be off leash?
Yes. Your dog does not need to be off leash at any point. Many dogs are photographed on leash for the entire session. Safety matters more than getting a perfect behind-the-scenes setup, and leashes can often be minimized in the final selected images.
What if my dog does not listen well?
That is normal. Your dog does not need perfect recall, perfect manners, or perfect posing skills. Some dogs need snacks, breaks, movement, patience, or time to be ridiculous before they settle. The session is built around who your dog actually is.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Because sessions happen outdoors, weather is part of the planning. If conditions are unsafe, uncomfortable, or unlikely to create the kind of images we are aiming for, we can adjust the plan or reschedule. Overcast skies, snow, and changing light can photograph beautifully, but heavy rain, extreme cold, smoke, or unsafe conditions are different.
Which session should I choose for my dog?
Portrait is best for classic outdoor dog portraits. Story is best when you want more variety, movement, or location flexibility. Legacy is best for senior dogs or dogs with health changes. Rainbow Bridge is best when time is limited and the session needs to be gentle, simple, and urgent.
